Frequently Asked Questions

What small animals do you care for?

We care for cats, birds (parrots, finches, etc.), fish, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, reptiles (bearded dragons, geckos, snakes), and more. If you have an unusual pet, just ask!

How often do cats need visits?

Most cats do well with 1-2 visits per day. We recommend at least daily visits for litter box maintenance, fresh food/water, and companionship. Kittens and senior cats may need more frequent visits.

Can you care for my fish tank?

Yes! We handle daily feeding and basic tank monitoring. For complex aquarium systems, we follow your specific instructions. We can also coordinate with your aquarium service for maintenance needs.

Do you handle exotic reptiles?

We're comfortable with common reptiles like bearded dragons, leopard geckos, and ball pythons. For venomous or large constrictors, we'd need to discuss specifics. Safety is our priority.

My bird is shy around strangers. Will they be okay?

Many birds need time to warm up to new people. We'll move slowly, speak softly, and let your bird set the pace. Over time, most birds become comfortable with their sitter.
